Our Story

Concord Craft Brewing Company began in 2015 with the goal to bring great craft beer into the heart of downtown Concord, NH. We found space in the 150 year old Merrimack Farmers Exchange building on Storrs Street in the heart of historic downtown Concord, just two blocks from our logo-inspiring gold-domed state capital building. We installed a state-of-the-art steam heated 15 barrel brewhouse in 2016 and opened our doors in January 2017 with just three beers on draft. We expanded our offerings throughout 2017, offering full pours in our small tasting room and self-distributed kegs and cases of 16oz cans to NH restaurants, bars and craft beer retailers.

We teamed up with New Hampshire Distributors and Bellavance Beverage Company in 2018 to expand our distribution reach throughout New Hampshire. We have worked hard to offer a range of highest quality craft beers from light-bodied lagers, to robust stouts and other dark beers, to savory kettle sours and a full range of IPAs. Our Safe Space NE-IPA quickly became our top selling brand and was named the 2021 Best NH-Made Beer in the Hippo Readers Choice Awards. A number of our other beers have also earned recognition, with our Pandora’s Kettle #3 winning gold in the Berliner Weisse style at the 2019 Great International Beer & Cider competition along with our Town Pound Porter taking home the Bronze medal.

We remain committed to making some of the best beer in NH without losing the sense of adventure to improve our craft and bring new and exciting flavor profiles to our customers. To those ends, we are opening our expanded tap room and kitchen in January 2022, so customers can experience great beer with great food, right at the source here in Downtown Concord, NH!

We are easy to access from almost any corner of the state as we are just a few hundred yards from Interstate 93, with easy on/off from the three downtown Concord exits 13, 14 and 15. We offer beer to go in growlers, cans in singles, four packs and cases and up to 8 varieties of kegs in sixtels and half kegs along with fun brewery swag and other items right from our brewery and tasting room. We also make efforts to continually improve our business. In 2023 we were recognized by the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services as one of New Hampshire’s Sustainable Breweries for our work to minimize the environmental impact of our craft beer production.
